hey there:) My name is Andreja and I come from Slovenia (not Slovakia, but SloVENia)...sure..what the hell am I doing here? I'm studying chech language at univertity and it would be quite helpfull for me to be in contact with the language....with someone that knows it a litlle bit better than half of my class.... for now:)
so...if anyone is interested in helping me.... write to me (but please first in english...or if you want to be mean you can try in chech...but then you'll give me some hard time:)...

Yep, my dear friend lacks some knowledge in English. Don't worry, we'll try to speak as much Czech and English as we can. Oh, yeah, sorry, I'm new here too. And, I'm her schoolmate. So, we'll na moc try to speak Češtinou(Sorry, we don't know the future tense yet :blush:)

Zdravo. Kako si našla našu webstranicu? Dobro došla. Zašto si izabrala češki jezik? Nadam se da češ biti ovdje zadovoljna :_)

eeem..about our music...not much yet, but we're warmong up...right schmts?
but about the music that I (I!) listen....
mostly some melodic death, industrial, gothic, some black...and even some glam and so on..depends on how i feel:)
but my fave band is Pain, than maybe Dark Tranquillity, Sentenced...
enough for the beginning:)

To be honest, it's pretty much a work of the both of us. I just wanted to get a forum, where I could read Czech and maybe try to write something but, čekame na kolokvium . So, yeah, i found this on google, and sent the link to Andreya. And let's just say, that she's a bit more of a comunicative, than myself . So yeah, I better go and study a bit more, if I want to write here something here in Czech. Oh, and hellChup, I went through this about a million times. Jsme ze Slovinska, nejsme ze Slovenska.

And yeah, about our music(I see, that Andreja understood that, as our band(we started rehersing about a couple of weeks ago, but we have some newbie musicians(right Andreja ), so It's gonna take quite a while for us to start playing listenable music). So we started playing some covers, but in time I hope, we'll figure out some riffs of our own. But about our Slovenian music sceene, well, we have a couple of really good bands, who saddly just can't break the state line, so they preety much play just in our country. Right, except for Noctiferia, who were quite succesfull in the USA...So, basicly, if you want to hear some really good bands, I'd suggest to check some of those links...
Scaffold - Technical(Brutal?) Death Metal
If you're in for some technical stuff, these guys really for you. The drummer is obviously a really good one, if I tell you, that he played with Belphegor on their previous tour, so yeah, check em out, you might like 'em.(I can't really tell, for I'm not really in that Technical death metal stuff)

Dekadent - Atmospherical Black metalish thingamajig
So, this guys play some really atmospherical stuff, but that's really something you must hear, for it's difficult to describe with words. So, the thing is that these guys released two albums, the first one is really something like black metal, but the second one is just too romantic .

Negligence - 80s Bay area Thrash metal
These guys will literaly thrash your socks off...check them NOW!!!:D

Noctiferia - (early 90s black metal, late 90s Progressive Death metal, Now Industrial Metal)
Well, as you see, these guys seriously had some serious problems with genre definition. So, what's going on here is basicly, that they played music that was most popular in that time. So, yeah, they followed the trend, but still, kept quality. So basicly, every album(out of three ) is good for its genre.

Hi Andriya. I used to work in Ljubljana on "Akademija znanosti in umetnosti" for a few weeks. Ljubljana is very picturesque city, nice people and surrounding country too.

And czech is quite similar to slovenian, isn't it? I have translated slovenian database into czech and most words were alike. Don't worry

well...these are only a few bands... in slovenia almost every one has his own band:)so it's too many of them to talk about all of them...

Heeh, welcome both. It´s very interesting that you study our language and it´s really good idea to combine the study of language with interest in music.

Here and now, i now remembered only one band from Slovenia - naio ssaion - but it little bit "pop" or gothic I hope that you present to us more bands from slovenia
